Scapegrace was born in New Zealand from the friendship between two men who did not know each other until one married the other's sister. After a long year of reflection at a bar, together with a Sunday musician, they went into debt to produce their own gin.Scapegrace's gins are made from 12 aromatic plants and pure spring water from New Zealand's Southern Alps: the aquifer that supplies the distillery contains rainwater that has been flowing through the layers for about 80 years, a very pure and hyper-filtered water.The design of the bottle is modern and pleasant but takes its origin from bottles over 200 years old.
