Efter några fantastiska år som ohotade rockkungar, är det dags för Sveriges största rockband att summera sin karriär fram till dags dato. Samlingsplattan - A Lesson Learned (The Best of Takida) innehåller förutom nya singeln "Swallow (Until You're Gone)" även flera tidigare outgivna versioner av ett antal klassiker. Singeln "Swallow (Until You're Gone) spelades in i New York tillsammans med producenten David Bendeth (Breaking Benjamin, Paramore, Bruce Hornsby, Papa Roach, In Flames) i studion House of Loud, Whitney Houstons berömda studio som ligger i Emlwood Park New Jersey. Titeln på disc 2 är "The boxroom sessions". Ångebandet fick sitt stora genombrott 2007 med tracksettan "Curly Sue", och har sedan dess radat upp hits som, Handlake Village, The Things We Owe, Never Alone Always Alone, Haven Stay och senast multiplatina singeln You Learn.
